IBPS Score Card and Interview
70IBPS had conducted the first ever Common Written Exam for Clerk for all nationalized banks. The result of the first CWE 2011 for Clerk has been declared on 29th February and the process of issuing the score card is on. The score card, that successful aspirants will get, will remain valid for one year.
After the green signal of IBPS about the completion of this process, various nationalized banks will start to issue their notification for Clerk recruitment according to this score card.
IBPS Score Card
The score card issued by IBPS is divided in seven sections. Let’s have a look on them
1. Reasoning
2. Quantitative Aptitude
3. General Awareness
4. Computer Knowledge
5. General English
6. Descriptive Section
7. Total WEIGHTED standard score
One must have seen that the seventh row, that is total weighted is not a simple addition of all six scores, but it is a weighted of score according to the following formula
Total Weighted Standard Score = Reasoning + Quantitative Aptitude + General Awareness + Computer + ½ General English + ½ Descriptive Section.
It means to say that whole scores of first four sections have been added and only half scores of General English and Descriptive Section have been allowed to be inked in the total weighted standard score.
The reason behind giving this pattern of score card is the demands of nationalized banks. Now, when banks will come out with their independent notification for recruitment of Clerk they will use this score card. One bank may demand with a candidate having better score in Quantitative Aptitude, and then other may ask for those candidates who have scored handsomely in Reasoning. This score card will come handy for these banks to fix their own independent requirement. And, eventually it will help whole candidates who have cleared the exam.
This is the very reason why IBPS didn’t declare any sort of ranking of candidates. Banks will not see rankings, but they will see score card, and individual markers in that score card.
If you have scored handsomely in Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude then rest assured that you will get call from all banks and the chance of yours getting the tag of a Bank Clerk in a nationalized bank is simply bright.
Wait for notification and in between work on personality development, understand how Indian banking works and try to get your concept straight for Indian Economy.

please tell me about bank policy if you have any information.. I know many person who are selected in two or more banks and still attend new interviews and may be selected there .. but at the joining time.. he/she can only choose one bank.. while other seat will be goes to backlog... then other person whose not in selection list have chance to for waiting list... and how to stop person who selected in many bank .. to take any new interview...
because by this policy .. bank's get only 1 candidate for 3 seats..
