Interestingly, the cut-off remained the same as was the case for CWE PO -- For General minimum 24 in all sections, and for others 21 minimum marks in all sections.

IBPS Common Written Exam for Clerk was held in November and December 2011 to short list serious candidates for all 19 nationalized banks. The large no. of applications made for this CWE was the reason behind IBPS decision to held exam in more than one session. And, as things turn out more than two sessions were responsible for the delay of the result.
All aspirants should prepare themselves for the result which is scheduled to be declared before 1st March. The result has already been prepared. IBPS was going ahead with its plan to declare result in January itself, but a technical glitch related to the moderation and scaling of the score delayed it.
According to informed sources more than 5 lakh aspirants have been shortlisted. After the declaration of the result IBPS will send score card to all qualified students within one week. Nationalized banks are in dire need of clerks and they can’t wait more. Hence all aspirants should expect huge flush of recruitment notification for clerks in March itself.
Why Result was delayed?
IBPS has assured all banks that it will declare CWE result for Clerk in January. In fact, as told by one of the officers responsible for scaling, the whole process was completed in the first week of January itself. Suddenly, they realized that a major mistake has been done in the scaling system. Since the exam was conducted in multiple sessions hence marks of all candidates need to be moderated so that not all students can be judged on a single scale. It is simply not possible to prepare more than one question papers of the same difficulty level. Hence, scaling is necessary which is reflected in the score card as Equated Score.
Whatever, the time has come when all aspirants should tie their belt for the bigger battle. They should start their preparation for interview with nationalized banks. Remember the notification for clerk will come soon after the declaration of result.
