After the IAS Mains results, aspirants rightly started to search for the best avenue to get them fully prepared for IAS Interview. Interview is the last barrier before they can get what they have thought about since long. Interview is a part of Mains and hence marks obtained in Interview is added and become very crucial in the end.

Though, both of them have the potential to become the best in its ‘business’, but for reason unknown they only rely on getting students to make profit. The motive of these institutes has changed drastically. Rau's IAS considers Chandakya IAS Academy as its prime competitor. Needless to say, like Chanakya it has become a fake institute. Claiming ‘this and that’ in advertisements in far flung areas to garner the support of parents is their prime motive. You should never join these two institutes for interview. And, remember, the ‘Art of Success’ program run by Mr. Mishra at Chanakya is nothing but a farce.

3. ETEN: A new entrant, but rather a powerful one. However, it will take some time for them to train students for interview. Again, a big NO. The effects of Educomp in IAS coaching arena is yet to be seen.

4. ALS IAS Coaching: Good one. Indeed. Only because of the miraculous figure of Jojo Mathews. Jojo Mathews has the potential to train your mind in just one week to think everything in a constitutional way. He is the one who is a real teacher in spite of his demerits like excessive show off. Shashank Atom is also good for interview. Though, he has taken a negative dive since last five years, but still he is a force to reckon with for interview guidance. Undoubtedly, worth considering for Interview guidance.

5. Sankalp IAS: A coaching institute being run by a RSS man in R K Puram. You may join few mock interview sessions of this institute. The charges are minimal. However, remember don’t join their interview classes. Mock interview sessions will be good since they successfully assembled some renowned figure and former top bureaucrats for the same. Good for mock interview. WORSE for classes.

The fact remains as it should be. Vajiram and Ravi is undoubtedly the best institute for Interview preparation. Then the number goes to ALS. Others are just twinkling stars.

One should always remember that there is no need to give any sort of heed to large advertisements of coaching institutes. They only manipulate facts.

Other than these, aspirants must join interview sessions of teachers who trained them for Mains. Those teachers will understand them better and can give them some valuable inputs. Joining more than one institutes for Interview preparation is always better.
